My stereo turns on wgen I start my van then after 1or 2 minutes it shuts off then I push the power button on again then it shuts off every 6-7 seconds or so and I hear a pop in my left speaker. some days it will play all day then most days it keeps shutting off on me.

It's having a power supply problem. The best way to rectify this with minimal drama is replace the head unit. OR you can trace the wires from the back of head unit, to your accessories and see if there are any breaks. Also check the fuse.
