so the factory radio goes dead when the key is on and you open the door. ok so once upon a time i hooked one of the wires for one of the md (modular displacement) solenoids backwards and when it would go to kick down it would loose power to everything lights interior car would almost stall then i found that was on backwards and turned it around and all worked well so after that happend i don't know where to start with this radio bizness because if that one wire on the engine affected all that then whoa whats up hear now. maybe a ground somewhere I dont know oh and this is the stereo with the built in GM cb radio,
