someone has cut bonnet catch cable, have tyred removing the casing from the cable but the wires have retracted to far up and i cant reach them, i dont want to rewen the bonnet getting into it

I don't know this car but many you can get at the actual "hood"/"bonnett" latch with long screwdriver(s) from under the car of thru the grille. Don't force hood open - go to a body shop and they'll have gadgets to open this and save on ruining things. Attach a plain wire to where it need to go so you can release it thru the grille or somehow easily till you can get the replacement cable,
