I just got a 2000 ford ranger xlt 4x4 and found out i need to change lower balljoints 'i've never worked on something like this always hade to take off a axle nut to get a spindle of but all there is is that cap thing that ive seen so far on this pulse vac. 4x4 so i just stoped working on it and came to ask you guys how its done before i brake something briddle by not knowing its even there '' please help 'and thanks

With pulse vac, you need a special hub tool and some of the parts you need to remove are not reusable. If you want to conquer this project yourself, I suggest you subscribe to an information provider, such as Alldata DIY, to get the proper steps.

Special hub lock removal tool. You'll also need a slide hammer which screws into the special tool. Using screwdrivers will damage the hub.
