my fuel pump quit working I've already figured out that it is something electrical, when I hooked the pump up straight to my battery it pumped fuel just like normal, how however even when the pump was running independently and I tried to start it wouldn't run. So I was wondering if there was some hose I could disconnect somewhere in the engine compartment just to make sure that the fuel is making it all the way there. Or if fuel injected engines are set up so that even if the engine is getting the same gas from the same pump but the computer is telling the pump to pump it won't start that would also be useful information (I've only ever worked on carbureted rigs before.).

No, you can't check it that way. You have to use an accurate fuel pressure gauge. There is a service port on the fuel line at the engine for doing that.
The fuel pressure is very critical on this engine. Just getting fuel to the engine doesn't prove anything.
The spec is 60 - 66PSI. It will not run below 55PSI
