1994 gmt 3500 6.5 diesel

1994 gmt 3500 6.5 diesel Sign In
i have a gmt3500 with a 6.5 in it. i ran it very low on fuel and now it
run very poorly like it lost alot if power. at a high rpm it sputters
does anyone have a idea what would cause this?

 - check the fuel filters, might want to bleed the filter to start, then if not improvement- a fuel pressure test.
