Just took it to a mechanic and they changed the fuel pump and filter. But the jeep will start up lazy or sometimes gives problems starting the jeep engine turns over but just don't stay on. till you keep trying and gasing it at the same time and the mechanic keep spraying carborator spray what the problem?

I would make sure the throttle body is clean, as well as the idle air control motor. Also make sure your battery is good, I had one a while back with a bad cell doing pretty much the same thing you are talking about....

Sidom's advice is right on; I remember my first 'computer' class, many years ago. The instructor drilled into us, the first three things to check: 1) Battery, 2) Battery, 3) Battery. I would expect the mechanic to double check the fuel pressure even though they replaced the pump already.
