Temp Issues with a 04 Ranger

The last few weeks i have noticed a problem with my 04 Ranger's engine temp. No matter how long i drive it doesn't come to normal running temperatures. I have had the truck for several years so i know how long it takes for the engine to heat up. It has been getting colder but not that cold. Today i started my truck with out door temps at about 30 F and drove to work. Mostly 60 mph for about 30 miles and the truck never hit normal temps. Specs- 4.0 V6 4X4 Edge Ranger 70,000 miles Plenty of Coolant Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That was my first thought also but wouldn't it eventually be able to heat up or is the cooling system that efficient?

The cooling system will not come up to full operating temp if the thermostat is stuck open. It's a cheap enough thing to replace, I would just do it. Don't forget to get the seal for it too if it don't come with it. -------------------------------------------------------- Your only as good as your tools!
