looks as if my fuel gauge is buzzing like the sound the in tank fuel pump makes.
also when i start the truck the gauge snaps all the way to full then back. truck has also stalled several times only to finally start again after several attempts (like out of gas). slow starting several turn overs.

The gauge snapping around is pretty normal. I see a lot GMs them do that. You could have a fuel pump starting to fail but you need to use a fuel pressure gauge and monitor it when the problem occurs.
