Ok 1992 chevy 1500 4x4, 350 eng, had trouble with what I thought was fuel pump, so put in a new one.. did not help.. Come to find out the injectors had no power, fuse was good.. problem all started when I accidentally touched the positive on the altinator and grounded out..so I ran a hot wire and spliced in the injector wire, now works fine, starts great and everything.. My question, where does the injectors get their power so I can fix it right.. also now the 4x4 won't engage wondering if that has something to do with it.. also had to run ground wire from the cab to the battery.. must be ground broken somewhere, I used very heavy wire so no problem... The regular battery wire is grounded to the engine itself... any help would be helpfull... also all fuses and fusable links are good..

Check for melted fusible link at the starter.
