(A/C has its own belt and tensioner) I replaced the tensioner and the tensioner broke. Then I replaced the compressor dryer orphis everything. The a/c cooled great for a very hot day.next day wife gets in it turns on the air and the tensioner breaks again whats the deal? There is a TSB (technical service bulletin) on this you might want to check it out. /gforum.cgi?url=http:///gforum.cgi?url=http://www.cadillacfaq.com/faq/tsb/data/03-01-38-019a.pdf GM supposedly redesigned the replacement compressor so it doesn't basically hydrolock on oil, so you might want to make sure the compressor you installed is the updated version.
