Some things to try: Try messing with the dimmer as sometimes they get a spot that will shut off dash lighting. Another is to test all fuses with test light when the lights should be on. Some fuses can look good but not make the connection. If other dimmable lights work then ground (lack of) could be the issue. Use a jumper wire from known good ground (some bolt nearby) and see if you can find a common ground to panel - a fastener maybe to the cluster??
