like i said, cant open the hatch. i dont have a manual.i have checked the fuses and the remote battery

Just some questions and ideas so far:

Doesn't this have a way to request hatch without a dang remote? Is there some manual way if controls don't work (see owner's manual) like for fuel doors and such?

Tell us what this set up is like as for now I'm thinking of a glass goes up then a tailgate goes down set up. Trucks make a few versions of rear access.

If that style try with a helper to push on glass or door while you attempt to open hatch,

Probably a bad latch solenoid. You will have to get it apart and test it.
