2000 mitsubishi FH brake light / buzzer stays on

Year 2000 Mitsubishi FH , 5.86 liter, cab over with dump body and approx. 70000 miles on it began to have brake buzzer warning horn beep intermittently, now constant. Dealer said top off power steering ( did) and coolant ( did) and of course the brake fluid reservoir, which also serves the clutch, is topped off.
After disconnecting the fluid level indicator from the reservoir the beeping ceased, for a bit, thence with or without it the buzzing is constant. No manual , but online research shows a relay on the booster, attached to the master cylinder ($2000, none in US) and on the side of the truck is a booster which is positioned outflow from master cylinder but before the actual brakes. Am not familiar with this system and am about to send it out unless a gifted soul with insight on said system can offer enlightenment. Thanks
