I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 that I recently put new shocks on (front & rear). Since doing this, which was need, I notice in the front end a knocking in the floorboard while I hit bumps. Is there a solution to my problem? I am not much of a mechanic myself, but are there rubber grommets throughout my truck that need replaced to make this tighter? Are there suspension specialists I could take my truck to?

Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention that this is even more noticeable in the colder weather. Could I have put on a shock that is not as strong as what OEM was? I just put on the basic (cheapest) Monroe shock that was listed for my truck.

If this came on exactly with the new shocks then that must be the problem. It's possible one is loose or something broke and they can make some strange noises and feelings. If you can - just look right at them with someone bouncing the truck up and down a bit and you'll probably see what it is,
