HI I am having a problem with my fuel pump! I turn on the ignition switch and the pump does not cycle off when pressure is built up in the system, also notice that there is no check engine light coming on when I turn the key on and try to get fault codes! This all started last night after i noticed bare wires at the conection to my transmission sensor, by mistake i pulled the conector off before disconnecting the ground cable off the battery! One stupid mistake on my part!!! Please help?

Has that connector been repaired? If not, disconnect the battery, repair the wiring issue, reconnect battery and see what happens. If it has been repaired already, try pulling both battery cables off the battery and touching them together for 10 seconds, then reconnect them to the battery. Those Chrysler PCMs are finnicky

Hay GC, Thanks for your reply to my post 1997 Dodge ram 1500 4wd 5.9/360 Laramie, Fuel pump keeps a running! I had the truck towed to my friends Auto repair shop this afternoon, And so far they have been trying to find what seams to be robbing power to the fuel injectors, And trace the short back thru the wire harness! I will pass your info to his tech, As they didn't have much time to narrow down the problem today! Thanks Craig.
