i just bought this truck the previous owner rebuilt the motor and trans i was told the motor had about 20,000 miles on it and the tranny was just rebuilt in november i do have the recipts it has a 360 5.9lt auto when i bought it he told me the truck ran fine for 15-20 minutes and then the truck acted like it wanted to shut down he said it just started doing this when he put the fresh tranny in it he took it to a friend who had a diagnostics machine and the machine said it was the crank sensor supposably this friend was a machanic and said that he must have bent the drive plate when he installed the tranny and that the crank sensor is telling the cam sensor to shut down this makes no sense to me i would assume if he bent the flywheel or drive plate the sensor would pick up on this imediatly the truck runs great for 15-20 minutes just like the guy said so i replaced the crank sensor and still the same thing to me it sounds like the starts to stave for fuel so whe checked the pressure in the line off what the dealer told me it was supposed to be and it was fine i got a scanner and the code came back as saying the ignition coil primary secondary curicuit malfunction so i replaced the coil on the front of the motor and still i have the same problem did i replace the right thing??? please...please...do you have any ideas this is a very cool truck i would love to have running right he did also tell me that it has the mopar computer could this have something to do with it?????
