1989 GMC Seirra 1500 4 by 4 with a 350 v8.

Have replaced the brake module box and upgraded tail lights to circuit board lights out of a 1992 model.
Tail lights and reverse lights work fine but no brake light.

With my test light I have found the brake light switch has no power coming to or from the switch but the fuse has power.
Dash "brake" stays lit up at all times now, but was flashing before the new circuit board lights and brake module box was replaced.

Any suggestions?
