1988 Chevy 454 1 Ton Truck will not start

<y truck did not pass smog and I was told to get new plugs, wires, cap & rotor...which I did. The truck ran before installing the new parts and now it won't. The firing order is correct. Can you suggest what the problem may be?

HMMm.. If it ran before the tune-up then it likely has something to do with that. Check to see if you accidently unplugged something like the ignition coil. Also I know you said the firing order is right but recheck again and again just to be sure. Have someone else check it too, sometimes a second set of eyes helps. Good Luck.
