Should the metal fuel line connect to the carb or can it have flexible fuel line the last few inches to the carb? I'm having "vaporlock" problems and am looking for solutions. Vapor lock occurs when the fuel line passes close enough to a heat source to boil the fuel. I suggest double clamping, check for any leakage and think about re-routing it away from heat. Think hard and secure line so it can't rub anything as OE would do.
