1976 Ford E-350 Cube Van w/DUAL FUEL TANKS Not Getting Fuel To The Fuel Pump - Brand New Fuel Pump and Filter / Removed Fuel Line At Carb Inlet Redirected into "Catch Can" Primed Carb w/Gas Truck Fires-Up And Runs Until The Primer is Gone But NO FUEL Pumping Into Catch Can. Don't Use Truck Very Often But Try To Start it Regularly / Ran Most Recently 2 Weeks Ago 5/23/09 - Have Had To Prime it For Years To Get it To Fire Up - Now Won't Stay Running AT ALL / WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? Suspect Dual Fuel Tank Selector Valve More So Than A Plugged Line? - Where Do I Get a 34 Year Old Fuel Tank Selector Valve if That's The Problem? - Please Advise Leon

Basics on this: Mechanical fuel pumps have little suction power and if the line to the fuel has a leak it could be sucking air. You need to know that/those are good. A bit odd that it also doesn't leak but possible as I suspect a bad stretch of fuel line metal or rubber??
