tire rotation Sign In

what is the best way to rotate tires on a 97 cadillac sls. front to back or in an x pateern or? thank you

Either is acceptable but front to back has less chance of causing a ride disturbance and the normal, accepted method.

True - back when if you X rotated you could ruin a "radial" tire. Most will tolerate it and I do it every oil change - 3K. However with a fancy car it could have tires that are directional and there should be arrows to indicate that. Tread may and is on some designed for one rolling direction only,
