OK, the plot thickens. I didn't realize MOT had nothing to do with the US. I hear it mentioned so often I thought that was a term used by some states but I just Googled it to find out differently. This guy is in India anyway. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

For some reason when ever I see or hear the word "Ministry" I think of Harry Potter. Ministry of Magic... Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Canada has a ministry of transportation, pretty much on par with our DOT. Remember Zmame mentioning them a time or two way back.

Well, I guess if they have some sort of rule banning HID lamps, then you should abide by them. I wonder why HID lamps would be banned? Too bright? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

I've driven long trips at night in a friend's Escalade. It has the HID and I was out in the backcountry of WI with it. You tend to hit a lot of deer out there (always leave a gun in the trunk so my dinner doesn't get away after trashing my car) and I liked them. Its not as much the wattage output which is right next to a 9007 bulb, its the coloration of it. It really does reach farther and with much more clarity. From a driver's standpoint they are awesome. To everyone else on the road they make your eyes hurt. That said, I saw dinner much sooner than I usally did and could hit the brakes before he got grilled on my grill. And fenders, hood, windshield.

Not dependable HT. It's just the last ISP to send something along. Have another location that is over 1,000 miles away in no time, T

So you're saying your steak came pre-grilled? Rub some Heinz 57 on your bumper before you leave the house and it tastes better.

What irks me was that by the time i got out of the hospital the next day , it happened at midnight as i was driving home from my 9-5 mechanic job (see flat rate in another post) the fire rescue people had the animal brought to the firehouse on a wrecker boom . And since no one claimed ownership (surprise) They sliced it up and had a hell of a cookout. LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH
