Make sure it's really the fuel pump that is the problem and not fooling you as most will require taking the tank out which should be fairly easy but if rust is involved it makes it harder. It does have some heat shields that are riveted on on the older models & the later ones switched to screws. The rivets will need to be removed if yours has them. After that it's fairly easy. Take the hangers loose on the exhaust so you can move it out of the way. Take the straps, lines & electrical connections loose. Drop the right side 1st & it will slide right out.....
