cant get the air out of brake lines

cant get the air out of brake lines Sign In

i have a 1997 chevy c1500 p/u.i just replaced the master cylinder and the booster,rear wheel cylinders,i have bleed the system at least 6 times and i still get air bubbles in the large resevior i check all lines the air is sucking from the front brakes some where.is there a way to figure out if its a caliper or the abs box thank you

i also am getting air bubbles when appling the brake in the large resivior

bad master cylinder,i know you just replaced it seperate the master from booster see if theres any fluid in or around the booster,it is not normal to have bubbles in the master,then rebleed the system,was it a rebuilt or OEM master cylinder i have had problems with rebuilts. good luck

hold on .................... I'll go look at my own 97..........................Ok, I didn't see a bleeder on the ABS and there may be a prcedure for this bleeding that I don't know as I haven't opened system yet. Always make sure the master cylinder is bench bled first and I see that one can be done on the vehicle.

It may need one of those clamp on pressure bleeders to really get the air out of the lines,
