I need a copy of the manual for a RAC Maxi-Tune Ignition Analyzer that I bought probably in the late 70's.
I hope someone has one that they can copy and mail to me, which I will pay for. Or, perhaps it can be done by email, though I don't know if that can be done and still get the pictures that are in the manual.

Thanks guys,

I am not one of the guys, but I have the instruction manual for the Maxi-Tune ignition analyzer. It is 12 pages with numerous illustrations.

Tell me what you need, and I will see if I can scan same.

I will check this site again soon.

I was hoping to get the whole manual. I suppose you could open the booklet and scan the front and back covers at the same time. Then open the pages and scan them. You can email me at harrytemp@joimail.com and we can discuss whether this will work and how much you want for the mailing and the paper and a little for the work.

I needed the manual to work on an old truck for a friend. Although I already fixed the truck, you never know when the thing might break down again.

Thanks alot
Harry

Harry: did you ever get the manual for the RAC Maxi-Tune? I can't find my manual either and I'm not sure my memory will work when I'm under the hood of my 1950 Willys Jeep or my son's really-hurting 1960 GMC pickup. Please let me know if you have a manual by now. Ron

Sorry Ron, but I haven't heard anything else so far, and do not yet have a manual. I will try to keep track of the email you sent me and contact you if I get one.

I have a manual and the analyzer. Do you still need a copy of the manual? My analyzer was working until tonight when I zapped it. Am trying to reconstruct it. Went to Auto Zone et al and couldn't find a replacement.

Thanks guy, but I no longer need the manual.

It's not likely I will be needing mine again, so, if you would like to have it you are welcome to it. I haven't used it in 20 years but as far as I know it still works. I have recently moved so I will have to find it.

I could send it to you for $7. That should more than cover the shipping I would think. Contact me through this site and we will have to figure out how to get our names and addresses to each other without posting them openly here. The email name for me, above, is no longer valid.

To anyone with a transaction: Go to your "profile" allow for private messages if using real email addresses or snail mail addresses and you really do remain annon to the web. Even mods here can't see those at all - just so you know,

Sorry, but I never did get one. I no longer need one so I have quit looking.

Perhaps you could start a new post asking for one.

I could use this manual, or at least info on how to hook up this machine.
