Hello! I'd like to ask how long the life expectancy of a 1985 Mercedes-Bens 190 in really good condition is... Just.. In general.

If I kept the car nice and clean, how long should it last.. In Miles.

It has 220,000 miles..

One thing about a "Benzo" ( as Tom G. would say)..is that they do last...
The difference to me is...
A Mercedes is a machine...well thought out and built.
If you ever had the pleasure(for lack of a better word)..of working on a Mercedes, you'd know what I mean...
When you take it apart and put it back together ,it "fits"....Well built..
I know a guy that has a 87 diesel,that he just lets sit most of the time..it really hasn't been driven more than a couple miles in years and its still in better condition that most later model cars...very little surface rust...very little underneath..doors are still solid....you get my point...so if you take care of it...Wow..they do last IMO...
Another guy has a Mercedes with close to 300k on it,still looks/runs great....

But with that said....it still has higher mileage on it and anything can happen at any time....more likely at higher mileage for sure.
How has the car been maintained so far?...Are you the original owner?...have service records?

Oh, thank you! Well.. Erm... I'm thinking of buying it.

It's been maintaned pretty well, it seems... It's in nice condition.

It is only 700 dollars, aswell. So I thought it was a nice deal.

I haven't had any checks done.. I shall have an inspection done, soon. =D
