Has anyone ever heard of something called "Creasel" (not sure how it's spelled)? Apparently it's a mixture of tar and oil that is poured over an engine when it is brand new. It also produces a weird smell. Anyway, just wondering if you can direct me to a website that talks about it more. Thanks!

Are you referring to Cosmoline which is a rust prerventive that is sprayed or painted on metal parts and equipment to protect them from the elements. It was highly used on Planes, tanks and war equipment during WWII.
