 Bought street rod not long ago even though it's a 1965 it has electronic ignition.my problem is I can drive just a few miles and it dosen't want to start.Some one said it might be vapor lock could this be?if not doesanyone have any ideas? Hope you can help me.

In that this is custom and you suspect vapor lock check to see the routing of the fuel line(s) that they don't get close to things that are too hot. Move them if they are should stop vapor lock if that's it at all.

If this is one of those capacitor discharge ign jobs I had one and dismatled it for just the points which worked just fine and found no advantage to the altered system -- that for a 69 460 Lincoln,
