California laws for commercial Drivers! Login - Sign Up

Last I heard, if you are a Class A commercial driver here, you can't take your ticket to traffic school and have it dismissed anymore. And to add salt to the wound, what ticket you do get will be double the usual fine!! With double points to boot on your record!! Ouchiwowa!!

Of course that not to mention the zero tolerance towards Dui for commercial drivers. Not even .01% can be in your system. That means if you have 1 beer,....wait 24 hrs!! Or lose your liicense!

And it does'nt matter if your in a big rig or your personal vehicle!!

It should be the other way around if you ask me(tougher on class C drivers verses A drivers, most A drivers are professionals), or the same for everyone would be better.

Doesn't bother me either way, don't drink and drive, and respect the speed limit anyhow.

Jus my 2 cents, vinny
