Hello there, I am looking for the axle load distribution certificate for 1968 Buick Electra 225 Convertible. Do you have this certificate and if not could you please let me know where I can find it? This is for the inspection of the part in Turkish customs. Thanks

Dunno exactly what they are looking for. Tried Google by that description and you've been everywhere with the same question. If this is the first time this car has needed an inspection in Turkey. I'm trying but don't think one exists for that car. Never heard of such a requirement for a car, 99.9% probably only in use in Mexico, US, and Canada. Most cars and can't speak for 1968 had a sticker on driver's door jam usually on the door say GVW (gross vehicle weight which is what it could handle with full load - usually 1/2 ton for cars and GVW was what it would weigh, car, passengers and luggage/gear in it. Trucks would be different game. I really don't know what you should do. Can the inspection place suggest ideas for more help? I never recall seeing such a thing in separate "certificate." What are they really after and why (each place will have it's own rules) isn't this old a car exempt from anything more than towing capacity and max GVW? T
