tranny cooling lines Sign In

im changing the radiator in a 1992 chevy c1500 have a crack in one of the cooling lines betweem the radiator and tranny. do i have to change the line or can i put in a piece of rubber hose. not sure how much pressure there is in those lines

You can use rubber {fuel injection high pressure) hose but you should first flare the end of the line so the rubber can't slide off and then use 2 clamps on each end.

They also make transmission cooler hose which would better for that application.
