says 81000 miles. guessing 181000

Could anyone give me some ideas to why my exhaust is sucking, and carb is blowing?
timing off 180?
intake leak?

?? Where's you come up with 3.7 engine? Is this a 260 CID? Did you mean 1961 as in antique car? I thought so.

Ok: Valve timing must be off. Any history to suggest why or something just done? Timing chain could be at fault,
