i bought a duralast slave cylinder for my 96 ford f150 300 5 speed but my main ?????????????? is its plastic is that a good one or are there different kinds dont want to pull it a part again and repeat if i dont have to plastic i kinda looked inside it looks like its metal not sure can they be rebuilt also thanks

I believe all the aftermarket ones are plastic. Not to sure about the OEM part though. I know your hesitant because it is a pain to change out if something goes wrong down the road. If you don't minding spending the extra money, you could get the factory part at your dealer. Factory part (p/n 9L5Z-7A508-A) is around $120. Don't know about availability though. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up on your threads when a problem is resolved.
