Hello everyone, I have a Peugeot 307 2.0 HDI 2002 model with 200,000 on the odometer. I sometimes have this problem with the car suddenly losing its power during acceleration, the revs go down and it struggles like its choking or something. It has happened a couple of times so far and i'm quite concerned about it as i don't need that happening in some awkward situation when i really need to speed off. Can anybody help me with this please?

This is wide open to so many possibilites it needs to be narrowed down. All maintenence should be up to date for starters. In that is doesn't do this all the time a few things could be done that aren't a waste. *Check fuel pressure *Check for vacuum leaks *Check for exhaust restrictions *If not recently done a new fuel filter isn't a waste. *If timing belt engine it should be up to date and checked that it's good and on time. The list would go on and on. A professional overall check up may be required, T
