Im wondering if a cold air intake help or hurt gas mileage?
I had a 91 integra and after i put a cai on it, it seemed like the mileage went down. But ive had other cars where it really didnt do anything. Ive heard people and websites say that you can increase your gas mileage by adding one.
The reason im asking is because my car i got yesterday has a weapon r intake. And i want to get the best mileage possible out of the car

Those things don't benefit anybody except the people that sell them. Your car is computerized to maintain the exact same air/fuel mixture at all times.

We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

The tricks out there and sold all over the place are pretty much bull and don't help a thing. I have not seen ONE alteration change anything for the better.

Getting wild HP for dragsters, funny cars, Hot Rods is all different. Cars for reality are already engineered for best performance,
