A little more info on you symptom will be helpful. Sometimes it stays running, but tries to die. You are able to keep it running by pressing the gas pedal, but when you stop pressing the gas pedal the engine dies again. If this is correct you will need to find out weather you are lacking fuel, or spark to the engine. I would suspect the car is no t getting enough fuel to keep it running.
