Recently I have been thinking about donating an older car I have - a 1990 Acura legend coupe. It is used but
with 170,000+ miles on it. It does still run but it is very used. I am weary of donating though as I do not want the
car to go anywhere but the intended charity (I don't want it to be misappropriated). Are there any reputable
charities to donate to?
I have looked around places like (can't allow links here) to find some trustworthy charities, but am still unsure. Do
any charities come recommended?

Had to take link out to a specific place - not allowed here. Just say who if you want.

Do some research on the charities if your intention is really to benefit them how much they spend on overhead vs a given cause is something I look for.

You get a write off for the real possible value if that is helpful to you and get rid of a car without hassles if that's important to you.
Speak for myself I favor those charities with the lowest overhead to run a charity some as high as 97% or maybe more!

You seem like a good hearted person so do some looking on how much of what you donate goes to the cause you favor would be high on my list of choices.

Good luck. It's very thoughtful of you! Tom
