Hi Newb here! I work in purchasing for a wholesale tire distributer on the east coast. We are considering selling TPMS tools,kits and sensors. Are there any shop owners or wholesalers that can give me any insight on the profitability of such a venture?
Shop Owners - how often are you replacing senors themselves? , Do you do a seal kit every time you break down a tire and wheel? , Do you stock sensors and/or reseal kits? , How many TPMS reset hand tools does you're shop own?
Wholesalers - How many sku's are you currently stocking? Is there a greater demand for "OE" replacement? Any experience with "do it all" system like Redi-sensor?
Any feedback,insight or advice will be greatly appreciated!
