Searching for great tools and suggestions Sign In

Hello everyone! Smile

I just got employed as a mechanic at Pepboys and this is my first time tool searching. As for all of my basic tools including hammers, impact guns metric/SAE sockets, screw drivers wrenches and so fourth, I bought some and the rest my uncle donated to me.

I'm the type of guy that doesn't like to ask for others tools and that doesn't like to buy cheap ones either, so I started my search at Matcotools.com and I was searching for basic, useful and efficient tools. Down below I listed tools that I found under categories and before I make a final decision on spending my hard worked money, I wanted to hear a word of advice from experienced technicians and mechanics and their opinions.

I don't mind spending big if it means that I will have the proper tools that are worthy of an investment, but from all of these tools which ones should I get? The most expensive ones from each categories? Or the all in one tools? What is your guy's take on this? I apologize for posting many links! xP

I have quite a few OTC tools in these categories, which many times are the same ones as on the truck at about half the price. I got most from Amazon
