Probably, did you drop the column for any reason? There is a cable that operates that as the column rotates. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Hopefully the cable was disconnected from the column arm or else the cable assembly is damaged. Your probably going to need one of these or the one that is similar looking to this one: Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

No I didn't drop the column, didn't have to remove it. but i am going to remove dash and look for cable that may have come loose as suggested by someone else. Thanks for your answer.
