Hmmm? Mirror stuff may take a hunt. Gotta ask you if that's the same as an Olds 98, or Cadillac DeVille or "Brougham" which I think embosses Cadillac on them. A top end Caprice a maybe as well as Bonneville or even one called Parisienne sp?)

Rear load level rods + assorted stuff should be the same parts going forward one model year or back many more for full size GMs of the like. If sagging or behaving like a dog in heat now just move the lever to a mid point and leave it there for now.

Mirror stuff may be that hardest as if one is on a whole good door regular used auto moving in on to the last of that vintage may want to sell the whole door only and not parts off of it.

World wide is Hemmings Motor News. May find someone parting out one on their own before cashing in on the metal weight. The "Cash for Clunkers" scam took a lot of these out fast plus plain metal value squished it's worth some bucks so decent salvaged ones are all but gone around me.

Keep looking even for whole cheap cars they someone can't sell as they might part one out too. What you want is out there, just a hunt,

T

If that joystick you refer to is for a manual control mirror, I believe that is part of the mirror and not serviceable separate from the mirror.

Its also a lot of fun to replace. Snakes under the whole dash out through the door to the mirror.

Ok, I know they had one that had 3 cables permanently attached to it that did the same thing.

I don't recall anything but the three cables way and a joy stick that could be on dash. Now it could be electric heated and marked on the glass. TMK - GM had no intention of keeping this body and changed in 1985 not sharing a screw with one of these.

Check on that. They wouldn't work with key off at all. Broken electric motor (if motor only problem) ones you should be able to just push on glass same as mechanical but that would in turn, move the joy stick car on or off,
