How to pick a good tire for my accord?

I have costco, sams & pepboys nearby. Tons of choices but I know nothing about tires. Any advice for a noob?
I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX V6.

I hope you don't mind this canned answer . If i gave you my favorite picks,you would be running around on 44 inch mud tires and an 18 inch lift kit. This is a very good site for info , happy reading. Just click on link.

I work at a tire store and i can tell you it depends on how much you want to spend.
Michelin is the best
Bf goodrich second
From there they are mostly the same but the next top 2 would probably be Firestone and Good year.
Mind you that good year is having alot of issues with their tires right now.
Cooper is a great company to and their cs4 touring's are good tires.
Don't buy chinese junk.
Michelin is the best but you probably looking at 800+ for a set so get those if price is no object or get firestone/good year or cooper tires.
Our top selling tire is a Sigma regent, Which is made by cooper.
