How much to pay for a new 2018 Honda Accord? Sign In

The last time I bought a car, I felt I could find good information online about what a good price would be. Now, however, after extensive searching, the feeling I come away with is that all of the sites that purport to "help" you are on the side of the manufacturers. Therefore (although it may be a loaded question), I thought I would draw on the experience of the members of this site: what would be a good deal on the base model of a 2018 Honda Accord? The MSRP is $24,460, the "factory invoice" is $22,679. Assume I would be paying cash. Thanks.

Hmm, no responses... Anyway, FYI here's how it went down: We talked the dealership down to 21,800. Then, if we financed at least $5000 (which we did), there was another $1000 discount for a final price of $20,800 before taxes and fees. The interest on the loan will be $75 - $343 depending on how long we take to pay it off.

Prices listed are just a joke IMO you don't know how much is really cost the dealer. You need to compare every option and feature and I'd ask another dealer what they can do to beat that. There are on line buying sites pay for or not that might help compare what others negotiated.

IDK - there's more markup in used than new for real bartering. Dealer gets kick backs, incentives you don't see the sales person doesn't share in that or never did.

Some can be free to dealer if they sold enough - you just don't know what their real cost is for a specific one.

See what a new 2017 left over is fire sale priced at might give you a clue how much wiggle room you have,
