You should see an opening between 2 semi round pieces of metal. If these pieces are touching, use a screwdriver to move them apart. The door should close. Then look to see if the latch is lining up with the metal pin that sticks out of the car. If it doesn't, either a hinge is bad, or maybe you can adjust the pin to center in the latch and the door will work. WD-40 can help. Put car in warm garage.
