About Car Receipts? Sign In

So I missed my exam this morning because I overslept, I told the instructor I had car problems and had to bring it to the shop. So she'd let me make it up as long as I had a receipt of the damages/repairs. If I went to a mechanic and asked them to fill out a fake receipt for money do you think they would? Is this illegal? I honestly would do it myself, I just need a blank receipt....

Yes, fraud would be illegal, but if you went to school, you'd already know that.

Don't insult your instructor's intelligence..... You're going to wind up making a bad situation worse..

Deceit for a receipt is just that. Play fair both ways is all I'll suggest,

Not the best thing to do... Just say the truth and hope to take it next year or something... it's better than going to court or something else later.
