It's a 6 cylinder, 4Motion model. I love the ride; but problems are becoming more and more frequent. The new wagon models I see (Audi, in particular) come in 4 cylinders, although the torque/horsepower figures look very good (although I'm not an expert on that, for sure). So I'm wondering if I go down to 4 cylinders, will I experience a noticeable decline in the power and smoothness of the ride; or will the increase in torque/horsepower, etc. make up for it? As long as you stay with close to the same size class you'll probably like the ride and some of the new 4 cylinders really have a lot of power. I guess it really depends on how hard you were pushing your old car.... The best thing I could recommend is when you narrow it down to 1 or 2 models if possible, try to rent that one for a day or 2 and drive it........ You really can't tell anything on a 10 to 20 minute test drive. If you can't find the model to rent I would try to work something out with the dealer to get some extended time in one........
