having problems with accelerating, will be at stop and push gas, RPM will rise but car will not move but a few inches, then let off gas and try again and most of the time it will begin to pick up....
Can someone tell me what can cause this problem?

Low trans fluid if automatic, clutch worn if std. or blown trans which you didn't want to hear,

I feel so dumb right now.. I just got back from getting transmission fluid and putting it in my car, a light bulb came on when I got in my car today) check the trany fluid, duh'. I had hardly any, she is running like a dream now, I evidentally have a leak I'll have to get it looked at, hopefully it won't be too bad. Thanks!
