I've heard that used motor oil can get cleaned and reused is this true? Does anyone know what really happens to the used motor oils we burn through every year? Are they recycled, just dumped out into the ground, or is there another use for them.

It gets recycled and re used but generally NOT in N. America. We also burn it to heat greenhouses here. TMK it's NOT just dumped into the ground - heck we could do that! Keep recycling,
