Insurance prices for the same coverage may vary greatly from company to company depending on their loss experience. Auto insurance company may increase your insurance premium even if you did not have any accidents or violations, while a different insurance carrier had a profitable year and reduced or discounted its car insurance rates to increase market share.

I have tried to buy car insurance online however the offer is so wide I left the site without anything, was totally confused. Maybe you have any good suggestions for choosing the least confusing site?

I'm sorry but we don't promote any specific businesses nor do we allow anyone else to.

McGrade; Just a suggestion; I checked with my Home Owner's insurance company. They also had auto insurance which turned out to be a very good price with the discounts for having all of my insurance with the same company. Also, as Tom mentioned, I have a real, live, agent (locally) that I can have a real conversation with. I would assume also, that by having everything with the same company, I might have a bit more leverage in case of a claim.

Tom and Lauren, thank you both. I have found agent is really still the best option to choose insurance.

I think an agent gets 15% of your premium but should be there for you if anything happens!
